Graduated oval aquamarine necklace in yellow gold

Materials: Yellow gold; faceted oval-cut aquamarines in claw settings; hand-made oval-link chain

Fifteen oval aquamarines, graduated towards the centre, claw-set in yellow gold. The oval-link chain, forged and soldered by hand, closes the necklace at the nape and adjusts its length.

The stones were chosen for evenness of tone — a clear blue with no green cast — and oval-faceted so that even the larger sizes return light.
